Need any help or information?

If you would like to find out more about any aspect of a residential project or if you’d like to visit, or if you have any queries, we will be very happy to help.

How to apply

To apply for a project, please fill in the generic Kenward Trust residential rehabilitation application form and send it to Admissions.

Or apply online here.

For the Malthouse, you will need to fill in this specific form, in addition to the generic form (unless you have already completed one before).

For supported housing, you will need to fill in this specific form, in addition to the generic form (unless you have already completed one before).

Acceptance is subject to interview and risk/needs assessment. We are able to travel to meet you to do this.

You can read our full eligibility criteria.

Cost

Please contact us for the current weekly cost. This covers all our costs – bed, food, therapy, maintenance, emergency on-call staff, etc. As a charity, we are charging as close as possible to true cost, but we also aim to provide enhanced services such as vocational activities and training to maximise reintegration and sustained recovery. We seek donations from a variety of sources in order to provide these additional activities.

Funding

There are two routes for admissions / funding.

• Referral from your local substance misuse agency. Details of the agency will be available from your county council and you will need to get in touch for assessment and advice on the best recovery plan for you. Your key worker will then discuss with you if a particular project is suitable, how long a programme you would need and whether they can fund it for you, as they may have certain criteria. Feel free to call us for some help about this.

• Self-funding. If you are able to pay for the cost of your stay, you can get in touch with us directly. This route will be faster. We can discuss how long a recovery plan you need to achieve your goals.

In all cases, any benefits you are eligible for will go towards the cost of your programme, and reduce the amount left to pay us.
