Penny Williams, Chief Executive Officer
Penny has over 30 years of experience in media, with roles as Marketing Director/ Head of Radio at KM Group and Marketing and Operations Director at Capital Radio Group, and latterly founder and Director of full-service marketing agency Big Plan Group. She has extensive general management experience with a background in sales and marketing and specific disciplines of strategic marketing and research.
Keith Greenhalgh, Chief Finance Officer
Keith an FCA of the ICAEW (Chartered Accountant) with 30+years of global experience in commercial and financial roles within the music, broadcast, telecoms, and digital channel industries. In 2004 after working for The Radio Network New Zealand, Captial Radio and Hutchinson Whampoa (Three), Keith founded Chapter Media an Ip strategy, business consultancy and technology solutions company, in 2010 he went on to form a digital agency Upbeat Productions. Keith brings his financial and management skills to Kenward on a part-time basis to assist Penny and the team.
Bridget Langstaff (Chair)
Bridget has a background in community nursing and Public Health with a special interest in vulnerable groups such as the homeless, substance misuse, and health and justice. As a Christian, she believes that providing high-quality care and services for the whole of society is not only our responsibility but is also the best way to make society better for all of us. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, walking, travel and spending time with friends and family.
Chris is the CEO of Crossways Community, a Christian-based charity that provides residential accommodation to individuals with mental health issues. Alongside this, they have a community garden, community cafe and provide sessions in schools to educate young people about mental health which translates well into the work of Kenward.
Dr. Anthony Jones
Tony has recently retired as GP partner. He is an Associate Dean for Health Education England and Clinical Director for Maidstone Central practices. He is married to Sarah, has 3 adult children and is an active member of St Lukes Church in Maidstone.
Paul is an entrepreneur, businessman and radio show presenter. He believes passionately in community and localism.
Justin is a leader in governance, risk and capital, in the context regulatory environments, and is currently Managing Director of a management consultancy focused on governance, risk and capital management. As well as being a Chartered Accountant, he is also a qualified Licensed Lay Minister in the Church of England and lives in Kent with his wife and three sons.
Simon has been a financial adviser for almost 40 years, mostly running his own businesses. A committed Christian, Simon is treasurer of St Mary Bredin Church in Canterbury; he is married to Pam and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren ranging in age between 20 years and 18m.
An experienced and financially astute businessman/entrepreneur with a background in quality and customer service, now working primarily in the not for profit and charitable sectors to give back in later career. Howard loves to help organisations work better and has a particular interest in improving the use of assets, especially property.
Local businesswoman with over 40 years’ experience in industry and commerce. Owner of Occupational Health Company supporting clients nationwide and overseas. Wife, mother and grandmother with a love of life and full of compassion for those less fortunate.
I am the daughter of Mr & Mrs Sinden the Founders of Kenward Trust, I lived at Kenward with my parents until I got married & left home, I also worked for the Trust with my husband as a Housekeeper & Counsellor at Boons Park in Edenbridge. I am a mum of three and a granny to one. I went on to train as a Florist and for a while run my own business, I now work part time for a Wholesale plant nursery.
Sally is a nurse who has worked for many years at a National and local level as a director. Currently, she is a director of a company that provides expert opinions and reports on care and liability. Her driver in nursing has always been achieving safe and effective care. Through leadership, change management, development of others and supportive policy frameworks.
Amanda is an enthusiastic and passionate HR and Employment Law Consultant. She has worked in a variety of sectors and size organisations. All of which she has always practised with the belief that our people should be valued, supported and developed. She started at Community Interest Company with a vision to change the way employers think, inspire disabled people to believe in themselves and provide a new inclusive interview process which allows disabled job seekers to shine at interview.
Peter is currently a Senior Programme Manager in the NHS working on organisational development and performance improvement. Peter has over 25 years of experience delivering service improvements in health, local government, private business, and the voluntary sectors. His passion is working with service users, patients, and frontline staff to deliver more effective services. Peter has a Bachelors Honours Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Strategic Management & Leadership. He also holds a qualification in Coaching for Performance and Programme Management. Outside of work, Peter is a School Governor and an elder at Cranbrook Congregational Church.
