This post would suit a ‘home’ cook who can work flexibly primarily over the weekend with some weekday afternoon shifts up to 14 hours a week. We are also looking for ‘bank’ cooks who are happy to be flexible with their hours and can cover holiday and sick leave.

This is a demanding but rewarding role and candidates need to be able to work well under pressure, providing meals to up to 25 residents.
We require strong team players who can use their own initiative. Full training given.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and be required to provide supporting references.
We require caring and professional people to work flexible DAY and NIGHT shifts for our Kenward Community project.
These contracts would suit people who have other positions or responsibilities and do not want to commit to regular shifts. We are offering a competitive hourly rate and training will be given. There is also the opportunity to work towards achieving the Care Certificate.
The day shifts are over a 7-day rota and are a mix of early and late shifts. The early shift starts at 7.45 am - 3.45 pm and later shift 12.15 pm - 8.15 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break included. A Flexi Worker will often be asked to cover a permanent member of staffs annual leave but also short notice absence, so must have a flexible approach.
The night shifts are over a 7-night rota and are 8 pm until 8 am.

To work within the team responsible for the implementation, development and evaluation of the therapeutic programme so as to ensure an effective and high quality provision is delivered to service users.
To participate in clinical case reviews, ensuring end-to-end care coordination and care plans meet the individual needs of both clients and stakeholders.
To ensure clients are appropriately assessed and inducted in to the programme according to their individualised needs and the purpose of the residential environment.
