Group - Therapeutic Worker

We are looking for an experienced Group Worker who can support, implement and deliver a variety of groups – supporting individuals towards recovery, increased resilience and improved wellbeing. Relevant experience in facilitating group work is essential, with a minimum of 12 months relevant experience of working in the field of substance misuse or mental health; a Therapeutic Counselling Diploma is desirable.

The successful applicant will be required to work within a multi–faceted role which demands high standards of client centered care. Those standards include:

• Ensuring the physical, emotional and social well being of residents at all times, ensuring the diverse needs of the residents are identified and met

• Ensuring the individual daily living requirements and treatment needs of Service Users are met.

• Participation in the delivery of therapeutic and psychoeducation interventions, both group and individual.

• Ensuring the delivery of care to all residents meets the required high standards of The Trust and Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The role is permanent full time working predominantly Monday to Friday with scope to work some Saturdays. It offers a competitive starting salary.
