Alcohol Awareness Week 2019
“I shudder when I think about a drink”
Les, a previous resident of Kenward Trust who passed through the our primary stage residential rehabilitation programme, shows how Kenward has helped him turn his life around.
“I get emotional when I think about what Kenward’s done for me.”
Hundreds of people like Les pass through Kenward’s doors a year and have their lives transformed; our programmes offer those in need of help a way to create a new future without drugs and alcohol. Our services help men, women and children both in the community and also within our primary and secondary stage rehabilitation, by providing support, education and intervention, however, we cannot continue their life-saving work without donations. “Nobody should give up hope… there is a way out and you can see it with your own eyes”
This week from 11th- 17th November is Alcohol Awareness Week, a week to help get people thinking about alcohol and how it affects everyone as a whole. The campaign aims to raise awareness and education over the risks of drinking alcohol and help people know the full facts before taking their first drink.
