Fantastically Festive Christmas Fayre!

Wow - what an incredible start to the festivities here at Kenward! Our Christmas Fayre on Saturday was outstanding from start to finish, with over £2,000 raised for the Trust.

Our stallholders were on site as soon as the gates were open, ready to set up and greet our visitors. They each brought with them an eclectic selection of goodies, crafts and ware to sell, which were all incredibly popular with the general public.

It was fantastic to see so many people on site, enjoying the live music provided by KentishSax and Yalding Primary School Choir, visiting our alpacas, goats and ducks, and playing on the play area.

The Retreat Cafe at Kenward was bustling all day, and the food on offer from Ockys Caribbean Kitchen was a delicious alternative for those who fancied something different.

Father Christmas was, understandably, a big highlight of the day, along with his cheeky elf! They loved meeting all the children, hearing about their plans and wishes for Christmas, and telling them about our magical alpacas who help out in the run-up to Christmas so the reindeer don’t get too tired before Christmas Eve!

It has been several years since we have been able to hold an event of this scale at Kenward, and it was the perfect event to make a big comeback with.

We would like to thank each and every one of you who came along for all of your support; we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did, and we look forward to seeing you in 2023!
