Kenward Trust creates new alcohol and drugs counselling service

Following 55 years of supporting those suffering from addiction to substances, Kenward Trust is

opening a new treatment service that is easier to access without referral.

Award-winning Kent Care Charity of the year 2023, Kenward Trust is here to make a difference to all who

have been affected by addiction to alcohol or drugs. More people are reaching out for help and not sure

where to turn.

Since the pandemic, alcohol and drug abuse has been on the increase, and it’s affecting families, workforces

and relationships. Cases are becoming more complex as young people are trying new drugs such as

ketamine and nitrous oxide which are presenting new and damaging results both physically and mentally.

Kenward are offer the following counselling and recovery services;

● A professional and discreet counselling and coaching service

● We provide a safe space for you to talk

● Respect for your recovery journey

● We work at a pace that is right for you

Whilst we are offering addiction counselling and recovery coaching for £60 per session to all,

there is a special offer of £300 prepaid booking of 6 sessions, saving people £60 per block booking.

“We are keen to offer our years of extensive experience in the field of drug and alcohol addiction to more

people that need it. Our highly experienced staff know how much this is currently affecting families and

the workforce and the long term detrimental effect that has. Over and above this service, we are also

looking to start a non-residential day treatment service for those who need more than counselling but

maybe can’t afford residential treatment.

We all know someone who is affected by addiction, and since the pandemic this has become more

prevalent, with more complex conditions affecting people from all walks of life. Addiction is a disease and

it needs to be more widely understood to dispel the stigma, and treatment to be more accessible. We

are here to help and get people back on track with work life, relationships and and importantly, families.”
