Local British Superbike Racer Tom Ward raises £2,550 for Kenward Trust

Tom Ward, British Superbike Racer, 27 years old and based in Kent has been racing since he was 7 and races in the Pirelli National Superstock championship which is a class within the British Superbike series.

In April, to mark the beginning of the season, all of Tom's sponsors gathered at the Pegwell Bay Hotel to celebrate the start of the season. During an auction on the night and raffle, a massive £2550 was raised for Kenward Trust. 

Kenward Trust is a residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre based in Yalding, offering a supported residential environment for men and women. The charity’s team are highly skilled and experienced at supporting individuals through the delicate and challenging process of change, within a safe and supported environment.

Tom Ward visited Kenward Trust presenting a cheque for the funds raised, and said "I'm delighted to be involved with Kenward Trust. I'm hoping we can create more awareness for this great charity and I'm honoured to be able to help in every way possible."
