During their time in our projects, residents learn practical and therapeutic skills in our Gardens and workshops.
Set in fifteen acres of beautiful Kent countryside our Therapeutic Gardens & Workshops provide our residents with both therapeutic and practical skills during their stay in our programmes.
Our Therapeutic Gardens & Workshops are a large part of our recovery programme, offering residents a variety of activities for which they can partake. These activities can range from maintaining our beautiful gardens through to joining our furniture restoration team.
If you enjoy being creative, we also have a designated Arts and Crafts Workshop producing a variety of interesting and quirky products. These are then sold to the public in our charity shop at Kenward Place.
A popular part of our Therapeutic Gardens & Workshops involved looking after our friendly alpacas and goats. Many of the residents thoroughly enjoy working with these animals during their stay with us.
Our Therapeutic Gardens & Workshops are continuously expanding with residents at the forefront of setting up new workshops.
